Hello again!
I know.....it's been awhile....Honestly, sometimes I just don't have much to say that I think anyone will care to hear. Does that make sense? And anyone that's known me for awhile may say they find it hard to believe that I don't have much to say....lol (But it's true!)
It HAS been a bit busy this summer. Kevin has been home and back out to work several times. When he's in, we work on projects around the house. When he's out, I do my best to stay busy...
I've been back and forth to town a few times...
For an environment that can be so harsh and unforgiving in the winter, it amazes me that something so wild and beautiful just grows wild in the woods!
Kevin installed an old school bell that we brought with us from Missouri onto a pole this spring...
It's fun to ring it and think about all the bears we may be scaring off....and aggravating the neighbors...
We don't have much of a yard but just enough that it's a couple of hours with a weedeater that I just didn't want to do this year....so I bought an old-fashioned "reel" mower and I love it!
It does a decent job and uses no gas. I consider it a win!
So while Kevin is working, I've been busy canning...meat...
milk...
