Hi there!

Got a little snow this morning...first we've had in awhile.  Looks like we may have a small snow event next week.  Will keep you posted!

We have been laying pretty low since the holidays.  Kevin and I attempted homemade bread a few days ago...

It was definitely a team effort...

We baked it in the wood cookstove..

Success!  It didn't exactly fall but didn't rise up a whole lot either.  Tasted awesome, though!  We'll keep at it...😜

We have determined since we moved in that we actually have a view of the famous Denali, the highest mountain in all of North America.  People come from all over the world to Talkeetna, to get to see it (and some to climb it!).  Unfortunately, only about 20% of those who come actually get to see it because of cloud cover.  But if it's out, in all it's glory, it's beautiful!  If you have property in the area with a view of the mountain, your property value goes up tremendously.  We cut down some trees and now WE have a view!  This day, the full moon was competing with the mountain.  It was spectacular!
