Snowfall:  167.75" (13.98 feet)

Mouse Trapline Tally:  10

Hello again!

We've been in the midst of another Winter Weather Advisory for the last day or so.  We got blasted with 8+ inches and it's still lightly snowing this morning!  As you can see, the total so far for the season is at the top of this page.  And I don't think we're done yet.... As much as we love the snow, we're about over it for this year.  And it doesn't help that our family and friends in the midwest are starting to enjoy 70-80 degree temps with sunny skies...😉

Cool thing happened the other day....Kevin opened up the door to step outside and saw a bald eagle in the tree above the outhouse!

It stayed up there for a few minutes and I was able to snap several photos..

It didn't stay long and eventually flew off.  We were in awe.  So majestic!

We went into town for supplies a couple of weeks ago, but for the most part, we've just kind of tucked in and been hanging out.  Crafts, reading and movies...it doesn't suck!  Once the trail starts disappearing in the next few weeks, we'll be stuck up here until we can ride our 4-wheelers in and out!

In the meantime, I've decided to try my hand at wine making...

Why not, right??

The rubber gloves have not inflated but I'm reading that's not necessarily a failure.  We'll see what happens...

That's all for now.  Until next time, stay wild!
